Dr Boudine Lohlun

Dr Lohlun is a fully qualified and registered medical doctor under the HPCSA. She completed her undergraduate studies at The University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, thereafter moving to Cape Town to work at Groote Schuur Hospital and 2 Military Hospital gaining experience in internal medicine, surgery and emergency medicine as well as obtaining her post graduate qualifications in aesthetic surgery and then sub-specialising in hair transplant surgery.
Dr Lohlun has performed over 1000 hair surgeries to date and is passionate about staying at the forefront of hair restoration and the changing technologies that accompany this rapidly evolving area of aesthetic medicine.

Dr JC Poewe
Read Bio
Dr. Poewe is a fully qualified and registered medical doctor. He is currently working as an Anaesthetist and Sedationist in private practice in Cape Town and has administered over 14000 anaesthetics and sedations to date.
He completed his undergraduate studies at UCT and post graduate studies atTygerberg Hospital and the University of the Western Cape, where he trained under the famous Professor Roelofse, who is a world authority in sedation and pain control.
Dr. Poewe has a business background as well, having completed post-graduate business studies at UCT and has also worked and gained much experience in the business sector: He started his first business in medical school, importing medical equipment for students and doctors. Later he worked at the Medi-Clinic Group as a fund relations manager, but finally returned back to his passion of anaesthesia and sedation.
Dr. Poewe and Dr. Lohlun teamed up after recognising the need in the market for this growing area of aesthetic medicine and set forth with the plan of establishing a cutting edge, reliable, trustworthy and affordable solution to hair loss.
Dr. Poewe is actively involved in running the business, assisting with surgery, as well as providing sedation services where required.

With over 13 years of hands-on experience and International training in Advanced Hair Restoration Techniques (FUE), Terusha David has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, reliable results in the field of hair transplantation. Known for her meticulous precision and genuine empathy, she brings both technical mastery and heartfelt care to every patient interaction.
What started as a professional path soon became a personal mission: “to help people reclaim not just their hair, but their self-assurance and identity”.
She went on to enhance her credentials with a Nursing degree (SANC), Basic Life Support (BLS), and certification in Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) – ensuring a well-rounded, multi-disciplinary approach to both surgical and non-surgical treatments.
Her commitment to staying at the leading edge of her craft has taken her across the globe for advanced training, keeping her aligned with the latest innovations in the industry. Since joining The Hairfront in 2018, Terusha has played an integral role in over 1,000 successful procedures, working side by side with Dr. Lohlun to deliver results that look and feel remarkably natural.
Terusha leads as Practice Manager, overseeing the seamless coordination of the practice and ensuring that every patient experience is elevated from start to finish. Her calm, methodical approach is complemented by a warm demeanor and an innate ability to make patients feel seen, heard, and supported.
